Beautiful Rare German Hanau Solid Silver Mother of Pearl Box C1900 Antique 26g

Description

A beautiful rare German Hanau solid silver and mother of pearl box. It is hallmarked with the German Hanau marks for Simon Rosenau. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully designed with the lid being decorated with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (4cms) across by 0.5 inch (1.5cms) tall and weighs 26 grams. A very high quality example.
