Description

Danish sterling silver gilt and white enamel "Daisy" earrings. 1950s. By silver smith Bernhard Hertz, Copenhagen 1893 - 2007.

The Daisy is the Danish national flower, and when the current Queen Margrethe was born in 1940 her mother Queen Ingrid was presented with a special version of Daisy by Georg Jensen company. These are by Bernhard Hertz and are 1.8cm diameter. The enamel is in perfect condition.
