Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Sovereign Case 1898

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4? (3 cms) across.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Williamson Ltd.

It's in excellent condition, it weighs 16.7 grams and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The area inside springs as it should and any marks you can see on the silver are just reflections - the coin does not come with the case it is for show purposes only.

Please note that this item will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
