Large Pair of Brass Elephant Lamps with Shades

1920 - 1940
Description

Impressive pair of brass elephant lamps on black lacquered square plinth bases with shades, circa 1930 and in great condition ( fully rewired ).

These are large lamps so they will be ideal for a sideboard or perhaps one per corner table for example. I have had them re wired so you can either use the original shade cradles with their top fitting for the shades shown, or you might prefer to use them with a totally different pair of shades with standard shade fittings, so just remove the cradles...

The lamps have palm leaves to the top of the columns, then the elephants in traditional dress standing on square plinths and the black lacquer to contrast. Very striking and super decorative.

Priced as a pair and with the pair of shades shown ( they are both in good condition ).

The ticket price does include FREE mainland UK delivery.

Measuring:

40 1/2 inches or 103 cm high to the top of the shades

31 1/2 inches or 80 cm high to the bulb holder

7 3/4 inches or 19.5 cm Square bases

20 inches or 51 cm diameter shades
