A superb rare set of six solid sterling silver ice cream spoons. They are hallmarked for London 1872, 1876 and 1883 with the makers marks being JAJS for Holland, Son & Slater (John Aldwinckle & James Slater) - I don't know why they are hallmarked 11 years apart as they are clearly a set. They have been beautifully designed having superbly decorated handles. They are in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs - slight wear to the gilding. They measure approx. 5.25 inches (14cms) long by 1.25 inches (3cms) wide and have a combined weight 76 grams. Beautifully made rare examples.
