A super quality very impressive solid sterling silver chamberstick holder. It is hallmarked with Mexican sterling marks including the makers mark of Alfred Ortega of Mexico City established c1930. I would date this piece to the mid 20th century. It has been superbly hand made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 7.75 inches (20cms) across including the handle by by 2.25 inches (6cms) tall and weighs a very impressive 366g grams. A very well made top quality piece.
