Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Pierced Lid Trinket Box 1901

Description

This is a lovely antique Edwardian sterling silver trinket box measuring 2 1/4" (6 cms) across x 2 3/4" (7 cms) x 1 1/4" (3 cms) high.

It's hallmarked for London 1901 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Jacob. It weighs 59.2 grams / 1.9 troy oz and has a super pierced lid showing a pair of entwined cherubs/angels.

Inside is gilded and is nice and clean.

There are no inscriptions or monograms and the whole item is in excellent condition.
