Wonderful Rare Dutch Sterling Silver Picnic Basket Box 1894 Novelty Antique

Description

A beautiful very rare Dutch novelty solid silver box. It is hallmarked with Dutch marks and English import marks for Sheffield 1894. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a picnic basket embossed with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and vibrantly gilded. It measures over 2 inches (5.3cms) across by 1.75 inches (4.6cms) tall by over 1.25 inches (3.4cms) wide and weighs 30 grams. A beautifully made rare high quality piece.
