Rare Danish Solid Sterling Silver and Enamel Eskimo Inuit Dish C1950s

1940 - 1960
Description

A beautiful rare Danish solid sterling silver and enamel dish. It is hallmarked DENMARK STERLING along with the makers mark AD for A. Dragsted of Copenhagen who operated from 1947. I would date it to c1950s. It has been beautifully designed with the bowl being enamelled with an Eskimo / Inuit child. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the enamel free from chips cracks and repairs, light marks. It measures approx. 3 inches (8cms) across by 1 inch (2.2cms) tall and weighs 70 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
