A beautiful solid sterling silver tea caddy canister box. It is hallmarked for with import marks for London 1902 with the importer being TH. It also has Hanau German marks. It has been beautifully made depicting cherubs and dogs with a cast cherub finial. It is in super condition being free from dings holes and repairs, a couple of minute corner rim splits see final photo. The inside is clean and the top fits tightly. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.5cms) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) across the base by over 1 inch (2.7cms) and weighs 94 grams. A very beautiful piece.
