Rare Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs Nips Coronation Anointing Spoons 1910 Royalty

Description

Rare English solid silver sugar nips or tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1910 with the makers marks being Saunders and Shepherd. They have been beautifully made to mark the coronation of King George V being in the form of anointing spoons. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 4.75 inches (12cms) long and weigh 30 grams. Very unusual examples.
