Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver hip flask which has a plain oval shaped body, a removable cup at the base and a hinged lid at the top with a bayonet style fitting for added security. The body is suitably shaped to fit comfortably inside the pocket and the interior of the cup has been nicely gilded. This fine silver hip flask would make a desirable addition to a collection, would be perfect to use and would make an acceptable gift. It is 12.50 cms in length and weighs 5.60 troy ounces (174 grams).

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1889 by Deakin and Francis Ltd. and remains in excellent condition.
