Stunning Indian Eastern Solid Silver Pepper Spice Pot Egg Shaped C1880 58g

Description

A beautifully made Indian solid silver pepper or spice pot. It is unmarked but test as high grade silver. I would date it to c1880 almost certainly made in the Kutch region. It has been superbly designed being decorated with scrolls and supported on three ball feet. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (6.7cms) tall by 1.5 inches (4.5cms) wide and weighs 58 grams. A very high quality piece.
