A beautiful good sized English solid sterling silver cream jug. It is hallmarked for Chester 1900 with the makers marks being GNRH for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. It has been superbly made being plannished internally with a helmet form and has been engraved with a stag crest used by the Hirtzel family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cms) tall to the top of the handle by 4.75 inches (12cms) handle to lip by 2.5 inches (6.4cms) wide and weighs 110 grams. A beautiful high quality piece.
