Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Sovereign Case 1909

Description

This is a lovely antique Edwardian sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4? (3 cms) across with a lovely heart shape shield on the front.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 with the silversmiths mark for Joseph Gloster Ltd.

It's in excellent condition, it weighs 16.7 grams and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The area inside springs as it should and any marks you can see on the silver are just reflections - the coin does not come with the case it is for show purposes only.
