Asprey Victorian Sterling Silver Travelling Inkwell 1878 Antique 288g Very Rare

Description

A rare English solid sterling silver travelling inkwell. It is hallmarked for London 1878 with the makers marks being CACA for Charles Asprey & Charles Asprey junior. It has been superbly made having a button operated lid with the inside being gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The glass is free from chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.2cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cms) wide by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) tall and weighs 288 grams. A beautifully made rare piece.
