Stunning Norwegian 830s Solid Silver Fish Server Kongsberg 1925 Antique 10inch

Description

A rare top quality Norwegian solid sterling silver fish slice server. It is hallmarked with the 830S silver marks with the makers marks be J M Johansen. It has been superbly made being pierced with a stylised fish pierced by a spear surrounded by reeds. The handle has an image of Kongsberg church. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, light engraving to the handle reverse dated 1900-1925 so it must pre date 1925. It measures approx. 10 inches (25.7cms) long by 3.25 inches (8cms) wide and weighs 70 grams. A very high quality rare example.
