Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Bachelor Teaset 1894

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver three piece bachelor teaset comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and jug.

All three items are clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1894 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Fenton & William Staniforth.

All three items are in excellent condition with no dings or dents and with no inscriptions or monograms.

The jug and bowl are gilded inside and the teapot is spotless inside all ready for use.

They weigh a total of 374.3 grams/12 troy oz and would make a great addition to any collection.

The teapot measures 7 1/2" (19 cms) across including the handle x 4" (10 cms) x 4" (10 cms) tall to the top of the lid, the jug is 3 1/2" (9 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 1 1/2" (4 cms) tall and the sugar bowl is 4 1/2" (11 cms) across including the handles x 2" (5 cms) high.

This lovely set will come with a certificate of authenticity.
