Description

Antique silver watch chain and large fob.

The T-bar is hallmarked for 1899 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham based gold and silver chain maker Frank Cole. Each of the link on the chain has the lion silver mark and one has the Frank Cole maker’s mark. The clasp is a later replacement.

There is also a shorter length of chain attached which accommodates a large silver fob with rose gold wash detail. The reverse of the fob is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith Thomas Skelton.

Total weight 67g.
