The Best French Cast Solid Silver Ram Sheep Cutlery Knife Rests C1900 Antique 166g

Description

A very high quality rare pair of French solid silver cutlery knife rests. They are marked with French touch marks including the makers mark CM. I would date them to c1880-1900. They have been wonderfully designed cast ends in the form of rams / sheep. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) wide by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) tall and have a very impressive combined weight of 166 grams. Top quality examples.
