A George II / George III Chippendale kneehole desk / dressing table: the top drawer fitted with a baize lined writing slide and ink drawer: original brasses
The writing slide is unusual: normally you would write on the top surface and your knees would fit into a tight kneehole. This one with its overhanging writing drawer and 25'' knee room is much more comfortable to write at.
36'' wide x 22 1/2'' deep x 31 1/2'' high
writing height 30 1/2'', knee height 25 1/2''
