Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The hinged lid fits well and the hinge remains in excellent condition, the interior is lined in a black velvet in excellent clean condition (a few flecks of dust show in the photos).
To the front of the box is the initial R engraved, which could be removed by your silversmith if required.
Excellent condition, the enamel perfect (the white spots are just reflections), the lid diameter measures 2 1/2" and the box stands 1 1/2" tall.
