This is a beautiful antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver basket with swing handle and cranberry glass liner.

It measures 7? (18 cms) high to the top of the handle or 4 1/4? (11 cms) high to the rim x 4 3/4" (12 cms) across.

It weighs 192 grams / 6.1 troy oz without the liner and is hallmarked for London 1855 with the silversmiths mark for George Angell & Co.

The handle swings freely and the whole item is in excellent condition and ready to use.
