Description

A beautiful German Hanau solid silver table box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks and two French touch marks. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully designed being embossed to all sides with various figures including cherubs. Unusually the base on the inside is also embossed with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs and the inside is clean. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.3cms) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cms) wide by 1.25 inches (3.2cms) tall and weighs 90 grams. A very high quality example.
