A superb rare good sized solid sterling silver combination sealing wax holder, wick holder and seal. It is hallmarked for London 1904 with the maker’s marks being RF for Robert Friederich. It has a stylish design having a gem set slide mechanism allowing the wax (still available online) to be slid up. It also has a slide mechanism for wick. The opposing end has a blank seal. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures 7.25 inches (18.4cms) long by 1inch (2.6cms) wide by over 0.5 inch (1.5cms) and weighs 46 grams. A very high quality rare and unusual piece.
