A Fabulous Chester Silver & Amethyst Basket

A truly lovely Edwardian swing handled silver basket, assayed at the sought after Chester Office. This delightful example stands on a raised oval base and has wonderful floral and foliate engraved work to the pierced sides. The handle is cast, with a matching rim and the basket has an unusual amethyst glass liner, which is cut and shaped. A charming and practical piece for use or display. Dimensions below.
