Pair of Enamel and Brass Table Lamps, Rewired

1920 - 1940
Description

Super quality and very decorative pair of off white / ivory enamelled and brass table lamps, circa 1930 and in lovely original condition.

The ivory paint and brass contrast so well with each other, the acorn finial above the sunburst body with the fluted columns and further sunburst bases give the lamps an elegant feel, rather than being heavy at their bases.

They have been lightly cleaned and buffed, so the colours are wonderful mellow tones. Some very minor age related marks, but nothing of any concern and both have been fully rewired. Shown with a 14'' diameter drum shade for examples only.

Measuring:

30 1/2 inches or 78cm high to top of shades

20 1/2 inches or 52cm to bulb holder

6 inches or 15cm diameter

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
