Super quality Edwardian solid silver inkstand by much sought after silversmith A & J Zimmerman, hallmarked for Birmingham 1906. The elegant boat shaped stand with four legs. The original quality cut glass inkwell fits neatly into to the centre, with matching silver rim and lid. A & J Zimmerman were important silversmiths in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, operating out of premises in Regent Place from circa 1889 to 1929.

In superb condition throughout, professionally polished and ready to be used and enjoyed.
