In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
They are excellent quality and are cast silver, not weighted, and the pair weighs 1005g.

They are each clearly hallmarked on the base for London, 1727. The maker's mark is worn on both but I believe them to be by James Gould.
They are in very good condition for their age.
There is a small split in the edge of one sconce (see photo) and a few small dents around the inside. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions or need more information just ask.
