Swedish 1903 Solid Silver Enamel Picture Bowl Souvenir Spoon Hand Painted

Description

A beautiful top quality Swedish solid silver gilt and enamel souvenir spoon. It is hallmarked with the National three crown mark, the silver standard, the town mark and the date mark for 1903. It has been made as a souvenir having the terminal enamelled in the form of the Swedish three crown crest and the bowl depicting a female figure and child the reverse engraved Stockholm. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The enamel is complete and free from chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.3cms) long and weighs 12 grams. A top quality unusual example.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
