Rare Large English Solid Sterling Silver Travelling Goblet Chalice 1949 155g

Description

A superb good sized rare English solid sterling silver Holy Communion chalice. It is hallmarked for London 1939 with the maker’s marks being BO&WLtd. It has a superbly deigned being able to unscrew for travelling. It has a broad cross engraved base with vibrantly gilded bowl. It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.5cms) tall by a touch less (10.5cms) across the base and weighs 155 grams. A beautifully made high very quality piece.
