Tuileries Pattern American Sterling Silver Handled Nutcrackers C1906 Gorham Rare

Description

Beautiful American solid sterling silver handled nutcrackers. They are hallmarked STERLING along with the makers marks of Gorham, a large well respected US based firm. I would date them to c1906. They have been superbly designed having ornately decorated silver handles made to the Tuileries Pattern introduced in 1906. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs and measure 6.75 inches (17cms) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cms) wide and weighs 176 grams. A beautifully designed high quality examples.
