A beautiful very high quality French solid silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with two Boars Head silver marks and a makers mark and dates to c1900. It has been beautifully designed with engine turning to the base and sides with an ornate cast and inlaid lid. The inside has been vibrantly gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 1.75 inches (4.2cms) across by 0.75 inches (2.3cms) tall and weighs 34 grams. A superbly made top quality piece.
