Description

A very unusual novelty Italian solid silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark and dates to c1920 - possibly an early tourist piece. It has been made from an 1879 5 Lire coin. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures almost 1.5 inches (3.6cms) across and weighs 18 grams. A very well made very unusual piece.
