In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is fully hallmarked for London, 1892. The makers mark is slightly obscured, it looks like HSC but I cannot assign it to a maker.
It is in very good condition. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
