A quality George V solid silver and leather hip flask by Colen Hewer Cheshire, hallmarked Chester 1913.

This hip flask is in fabulous condition, the silver superb and professionally polished. The removable cup with bright gilt interior. There is no damage or restoration to the silver or glass, with no chips or crack. The leather is also in excellent condition, there are no rips or damage to the leather, retaining a lovely warm patina and colour; note some staining to the right shoulder as illustrated, commensurate with age. The lid and cup both match with the same hallmarks; all completely original.

A fine useable or collectors piece, rare to find a Chester assayed example.
