A beautiful large Norwegian solid silver serving spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830S silver mark and a makers mark. It dates by its inscription to c1919. It has been beautifully designed having what look to be Vikings sat around a fire to its bowl and faces and beasts to its terminal. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, initials to the handle reverse. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.4cms) long by 2.5 inches (6.7cms) wide and weighs 56 grams. A beautifully made example.
