Description

An outstanding very large Edwardian solid silver drink or serving tray of large proportions, with beautiful cast border and handles, with exquisite engraved surface, a work of art, featuring stunning foliate decoration, depicting the English rose and Scottish thistle. Large central cartouche ornately engraved with the letter D. Hallmarked Sheffield 1904 by Cooper Brothers & Sons. In excellent condition; engraving sharp and crisp, hallmarks clear.

A fine example and rare to see of such quality and scale. Impressive weight of 5.5kg.
