Rare Solid Silver Tyg Cranberry Glass Matchstriker Spill Holder 1900 Victorian

Description

A superb rare English solid sterling silver rimmed match striker / spill holder. It is hallmarked for London 1900 with the makers marks being partially rubbed. It has been superbly designed having a ribbed cranberry glass base with three arms and a silver rim. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs, the odd tiny nibble but nothing of note. It measures almost 3 inches (7.3cms) tall by 2.5 inches (6.2cms) across the rim and weighs 156 grams. A very rare example.
