Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It hangs from a flexible bale. On the back of the pendant are the hallmarks for Chester, 15ct gold , circa 1918. There is some evidence on the back of the pendant that it has been converted from a brooch. The pendant hangs on a new 9ct gold 20 inch chain.
