A beautiful Indian solid silver bowl. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It is known as a Kashkul and has been pierced with leaves with cast snake head ends. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, I suspect there may have been a loop in both of the snakes' mouths? It is a decent size measuring approx. 5.75 inches (14.5cms) wide by 2.5 inches (6.4cms) by 2.75 inches (7cms) tall and weighs tall and weighs 123 grams. A beautifully designed high quality unusual piece.
