Large 16th century French brass candlestick.
A striking design with low spreading base, square plinth pillar base and pierced socket.
Height 8,1/2'' or 215mm, diameter of base 5,5/8'' or 142mm, weight 893 grams
In good sound condition, wear consistent with age and use, the large peened joint has been glued to tighten.
Not recently cleaned or polished.
