English Sterling Silver Compact / Pill Box with Mirror - Engraved with Basket of Flowers

Description

A stunning miniature compact making the perfect and practical pill box with a mirror inside of the lid, which fits firmly with a good working catch.

The box has the benefit of a silver ring to hang on a chain, it would make a perfect and very usable pendant.

This one obviously stands out with the delicate and pretty engraving of a basket overflowing with flowers, the handle tied with a ribbon and bow.

The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 together with the makers mark H.W. Ld. for the silversmith Henry Williamson Ltd.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 5/8" in diameter.
