Cased Silver Egg & Spoon Set London 1949

Charming solid silver egg cup and spoon set in original case. The egg cup is a nice plain polished silver with a pretty bird engraved on the front. The spoon is a lovely simple design and has the same bird engraving to the top of the handle. Hallmarks are visible on both pieces for the London Assay Office dated 1949 along with the silver maker's mark: Wakely & Wheeler

 

The set comes in the original brown leatherette case.

 

A great gift for a Christening or new baby.

 

Condition: Both the egg cup and spoon are in very good condition (there are some age related surface marks to silver egg cup mentioned for accuracy.)
