This is a good quality antique English 17th century style solid oak joint stool, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1900 -1910, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition.

Description:

This is a good quality antique English 17th century style solid oak joint stool, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1900 -1910, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition. The stool benefits from a single-piece moulded top with nice overhand, above a plain frieze and stands on four splayed bobbin turned legs on turned feet, united by four bar stretchers, for additional strength, terminating on block feet. The stool has been made with traditional wooden peg joined construction. The stools have been waxed polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. The stool is solid in joint and ready to use.

Condition Report:

This is a good quality antique English 17th century style solid oak joint stool, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1900 -1910, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the tops, leading edges and legs, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). There are no breaks to the frames or legs. The stool has been made with traditional wooden peg joined construction out of solid oak. The stool has been wax-polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. The joint stool is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
