A top quality pair of large Victorian solid sterling silver salt cellars or perhaps sweetmeat dishes. They are hallmarked for London 1884 with the maker's mark being EH for William Hutton & Sons (Edward Hutton). They have been superbly made being half fluted supported on pedestal bases. They are superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 5.5 inches (13.6cms) wide handle to handle by 1.5 inches (6.5cms)wide by 3 inches (7.6cms) tall to the top of the handles and they have a combined weight of 170 grams.
