A very interesting solid sterling silver napkin ring. It is hallmarked for London 1937 with the maker’s marks being HGH over SAP. It has been beautifully made being decorated with the Coronation crown and the date 1937, the time of the abdication, so it could have been made for either King Edward VIII or King George VI. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (6cms) across by over 1.25 inches (3.2cms) tall by over 1 inch (3cms) wide and weighs 25 grams. A very unusual example.
