Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Hallmarks are visible inside each for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1953 the Queen's Coronation year so they also have the Coronation Mark and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's mark is also clear for John Rose.
