Stylish Silver Lotus Blossom Dish Sheffiled 1944

A very charming silver dish in a lovely 1940's simplistic style. The dish is in the form of a lotus blossom flower and the stunning engraving, although simplistic is very sophisticated. The dish stand on four ball feet. Clear hallmarks are visible on the base for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1944 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's mark is also clear: Roberts & Belk Ltd.

 

The dish is in fabulous antique collector's condition. It is unusual and very stylish.
