A beautiful high quality American sterling silver trinket or pill box. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the marks of Gorham. I would date it to c1900-1920. It has been beautifully designed having an Art Nouveau embossed lid with internal gilding. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It closes smooth and tightly. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.3cms) wide long by 0.75 inches (1.7cms) tall and weighs 22 grams. A beautifully made piece.
